Year 03 - Red Stick High-Rise
Red Stick High-Rise [year three // semester two]
This project was a multi-use high-rise located in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge. The program included office space, retail space, condominiums, and a parking garage. At such a large scale, this project served as an intensive design process focusing on architectural programming and code restrictions. This project was completed entirely in Autodesk Revit.
As capital of Louisiana, Baton Rouge has a lot of potential for merging the unique culture of a college town with the city’s vast history and emerging tourism. In order to combine these two unique aspects of our state’s capitol, my design seeks to draw attention to the undeveloped downtown region as well as increase the population’s desire to visit downtown’s leisure and touristic activities.
